one last Ozark Adventure posting

I really waffled back and forth about using this, but I really can't help myself, maybe the realization that I am now "socially disadvantaged" made me do it, but this is gonna be a real short one. I just can't figure it out; I've never seen anything like this in Kansas. Maybe the culling process was out of order at the Missouri Department of Tags, or maybe unlike here at the Reno County Courthouse, someone actually has something of a sense of humor.

Anyway, you should have seen the hubbub in the pickup when I saw this in front of me, desperately trying to claw the camera out while staying on the road. I would stand in line all day if I thought I could get this tag: it was my nickname from my family for most of my formative years (might explain a lot) So here it is:

Ah, my dream is smashed! I thought i was going to be original when my tags are due this August... Back to the drawing board. I wonder if his other car tag reads Ferguson.

ATTENTION Webster and Random House: Re: TURD--Please be advised of incomplete defination I.E. term of endearment (T.O.E.)

For the Record: Turd is a propitious though perhaps rustic "term of endearment" (T.O.E.)in certain backward-even primative- sections of our culture, if used when making reference (spoken with smile on at least one side of mouth, with teeth clenched on one side, and with little smile wrinkles at the corner of at least one eye)to a certain fun and happy and intoxicatingly refreshing little person, perhaps it's their very own oxymoron! Some will view the term in an understandably negative light- but they will NOT relinquish to others' definition if negativism is attached 100%!
In fact there is a rumor afoot that already a member of the next generation of stalwart salsa connoisseus has already - spontaneously been oxidized. Sorry.
The Old Guy
P.S. ATTENTION: Webster and Random House. The term, when used as a T.O.E. is only 1st. gender.
